Subbarayudu DarisipudiReflective is probably the more appropriate emotion.
Listening about this beautiful emotion of parent-child bond through the tune of Scarborough fair was maddening and frustrating. Really, the composer could not find something more original or homegrown to express this deep loving and ever lasting relationship boggles the mind. The emotions and thoughts evoked by the Scottish ballad is about making impossible things possible....surely that is not the thought about this bond, is it? Sorry if it comes across as a rant.
Jacinta JosephThe concept in it self speaks of love from its source...the universe! The lyrics, imagery and the music are all in harmony. The most beautiful thing about this concept is that it nurtures and gives a platform for the new generation of young musicians and vocalists to express their talent... This nurturing aspect is what is so special about AR Rahman. God Bless!!! Namaste!
Vishwajit VyasWow!!! Spellbound by this composition! I love the song and the way its shot in the movie ( The Graduate), and this version is a perfect tribute to Simon and Garfunkel...went back in time when I saw that Scarborough Fair video again and again for my Film class in college!
